Lullabyes and Dark Skies

Tomorrow will end another school year. Tomorrow is the last exam I will write as a grade 10. It's kinda scary if you think about it. I mean, just 10 months ago, I was like, "oh my god I'm starting grae 10." And the year just flew by. I'm glad it's over though, everybody was getting at eachothers throats and it had to stop. All the petty drama was driving, not only me, but every other girl up the wall! We all need these 13 weeks.

Since it's the end of grade 10, I should have an idea of what I want to do with my life or where I want to go to school at least. I think I do, but I'm afriad my boyfriend won't approve. For all intensive perposes, let us call him Gopher (that's the nickname my best friend and I randomly gave him one day). Gopher is the smartest person I know. He graduated this year with a 95% average and about 8 different scholarships! I've never been more proud of anybody in my life, but it makes me feel really inferior. I'm nowhere near as smart as him and he's known what he's wanted to do since he was 12. I have changed my mind a billion and one times and I still don't know what I want to do. He's trying to convince me to go to UBC (the 4th best University in Canada) so we can be together again when I graduate. But the truth is, my heart is set on Thompson Rivers University way up in the interior (I live in BC in case you guys didn't get that).

I know for sure I want a career in writing. I did this work placement with Youthink Magazine and I'm now a regular Student Journalist. I love everything I do there and it's made me realize that writing is my passion. I think I want to be a Journalist but I'm still not totally sure. Maybe a creative writing major, that could work too. But enough about school...

Blah blah blah...what to say.... I need a topic. Science provincial in less then 12 hours. I think I'll be fine. But once I put my pencil down after the exam, I'm free!! No more school and summer can officially begin! I don't know how many of you are following this, (my life isn't that interesting anyways) but it's gonna be a whirlwind summer and I can't wait for it to start.

Time for some zzzz's

Remember to smile :)
